Helical Piers

Helical piers go back hundreds of years, and are a time tested solution to various foundation issues. The process consists of driving several multi-segmental shafts in the soil surrounding the perimeter of the foundation until solid strata, or sufficient shaft torque is reached. The first segment contains several helices, which allow the shaft to act as a screw and pull itself into the ground. It is often necessary to attach several sections to the helical section until the required depth is attained. Helical piers can be installed prior, during, or after construction, and have dozens of loading and shoring possibilities. We can install helical piers to repair concrete slabs, pool decks, seawalls, docks, and nearly any other structure our clients may have.
Due to their various applications and proven effectiveness, helical piers are the preferred method over driven piles, drilled shafts, and auger cast piles. Some of the benefits of helical piers are:
• Relatively quick installation & instant loading capability •
• Can be installed in any weather conditions •
• Easy to install with limited space / access •
• Minimal soil disturbance •
• Environmentally friendly •
• Vibration free installation for surrounding structures •
• Easily modified •
• No wait time for concrete to cure •
We design and fabricate all of our helical piers in house at our state-of-the-art facility in Jackson, Mississippi, and can fabricate any size or design to accommodate any project we undertake. Our helical piers are 100% American-made, and powder coated or galvanized to ensure that they will last for decades to come with minimal environmental impacts.

At Dynamic Foundation Solutions, our background in geotechnical engineering, foundation design, and foundation testing coupled with years of field service allows us to provide the customer a permanent solution to the foundation issue at hand. When it comes to foundations, every project is different. There is no “one solution” that is best for each and every circumstance. It is essential to have technical knowledge of soil mechanics, the associated engineering properties of these soils, and the design of foundations at the given project site. This is what makes DFS different from any other foundation repair contractor. We find the root of the problem and fix it right the first time.
